Great Wall Motors will compete in the 2025 Taklimakan Rally with a powerful three team lineup, Haval, Tank, and Cannon. Vehicles will enter across the diesel, new energy and petrol categories in the T2 mass production class. With some models sporting a twin turbo V6 engine as well as the newest platform from GWM, the Hi4-Z.
Known as China’s toughest off-road rally , the Taklimakan is a brutal test of both machine and driver across 4500km.
GWM’s decision to enter using mass-produced vehicles shows confidence in their engineering and provides a real world proving ground to refine and improve future products with GWMs 'research and development' team to provide support and testing across the entire rally.
This high stakes desert rally runs from May 20 to June 1, pushing vehicles and drivers to their absolute limits across unpredictable and extreme terrain.
