Here are some details on GWM’s upcoming 3.0-litre diesel engine platform.

The engine will debut in the Alpha, with availability expanding to other models shortly thereafter.

Peak torque of 620 Nm

Water cooled intercooler!

385 Nm available from just 1,000 rpm, with maximum torque delivered from 1,400 rpm.

A thermal efficiency rating of 43.7%, placing it at the upper end of the range for large-displacement diesel engines.
